Giselle Yannelli is a Certified Public Accountant with over 12 years of experience. She started her career as an auditor in 2006 at Marcum Rachlin, LLP and then worked as the Assistant Controller for a multi-million commodities trading company.
In 2010, she joined the Staffing By Choice team and worked diligently to earn her position as Vice President. Staffing By Choice can handle temporary or permanent staffing, retained searches, and consulting at all levels in all industries and skill sets. Giselle specializes in identifying and evaluating qualified Accounting and Finance talents in South Florida. She leads her team by example in providing high quality service for candidates and clients via relationship building and active listening.

Susana Wetzel is a tax professional with 15 years of experience in international and domestic taxation, federal and state tax examinations, business consulting, and serving the needs of high-net-worth individuals and closely held companies. Since the inception of her career, she has successfully served medium and large-sized closely held corporations with annual revenues exceeding $500 million. She has served both privately held companies as well as nonprofit organizations. She serves clients domestically in a variety of industries, including real estate, healthcare, manufacturing and distribution.
Susana previously served as a tax manager with a regional firm and spearheaded the firm’s tax practice, delivering tax compliance, consulting and tax planning. She has extensive experience in the areas of tax compliance, research, small and medium-size business issues including partnerships, S- and C- corporations, estates and trusts, and income tax planning. She has lectured at seminars on a number of these tax topics.

Dan Sokoloff is a Certified Public Accountant with over 17 years of experience. Since the inception of his career, he has successfully served medium and large-sized closely held corporations with annual revenues exceeding $500 million. He teamed up with The By Choice Group in 2013 and has built up a client base of over 120 businesses and 200 individuals.
His services include traditional tax compliance and research as well as tax planning associated with more complex issues. More specifically, Dan has been involved with FAS 109, FIN 48, LIFO analysis, personal use of aircrafts, discharge of indebtedness, Sec. 199 and the manufacturer deduction, the home buyer credit as well as optimizing tax positions for high net worth clients and businesses across a broad range of industries. In connection with his real estate experience, Dan has assisted his clients with planning regarding the acquisition and disposition of their real estate interest, Sec. 754 adjustments, passive and non-passive issues, cost segregation studies, working on energy efficient analysis, transaction structuring, along with many other areas in a tax efficient manner.

Dev Ramnarine is a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK). He is a Certified Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence, awarded by the American Society for Quality. He is an internationally experienced accountant and auditor with a proven track record of success within PricewaterhouseCoopers and with financial and coaching services.
Dev is also a well-known presenter and lecturer (including ACCA courses) on governance, communication, International Financial Reporting Standards, International Standards on Auditing, International Standards on Quality Control and related international assurance standards in the Caribbean.

Gino Fernandez is a CPA candidate who earned his Bachelors degree and Master of Accounting degree from Florida International University. He has 3+ years of accounting experience, including 1 year at a privately held real estate company. Gino joined The By Choice Group in 2016 and manages 35+ sets of books for By Choice accounting clients in the private education, non-for-profit, and logistics industries.
Catalina Echeverri is a CPA candidate who earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Florida. She has 5 years of experience in various types of business management positions in the Telecom, Retail, and Client Support Services industries. Catalina joined The By Choice Group in 2018 as a Junior Accountant where she is partaking in 401K, financial statement, and real estate audits as well as accounting advisory projects. She is responsible for bank reconciliations, A/P and A/R reconciliations, compiling and analyzing financial records for variances, substantiating financial transactions by auditing source documents, and more.

Alejandra Marin is a Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years of experience. She has a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida and is fluent in Spanish. Alejandra started her career as an auditor in 2000 at Grant Thornton, LLP. Following her public accounting career, she joined a publicly traded company, where she was responsible for SEC reporting and filing; documentation of internal controls and policies and procedures in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002; coordination of the consolidation of the financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries; and coordination of inquiries, reviews and audits by internal and external auditors and regulatory authorities.
Additionally, Alejandra has worked with privately held companies where she was responsible for the supervision and training of accounting and human resources staff as well as establishing policies and procedures that aligned with the goals and objectives of the company. She has managed financial relationships with lenders, assisted with corporate risk management (i.e. general corporate insurance/workers’ compensation) and participated in the corporate wide budgeting process.
Alejandra became a Partner at The By Choice Group in 2016 and continues to provide the above-mentioned controllership, accounting, and audit services.
Daryl Joyce is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Certified Accountant (United Kingdom) with a Master of Accounting degree and has over 30 years of experience. He started his career with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) and worked his way up to audit executive at local and national public accounting firms.
Daryl has extensive experience in accounting, audit (including FAR 31 audits), and internal control systems. He has performed and supervised audits of construction companies, commercial entities, not-for-profit organizations, government establishments, employee benefit 401(k) plans, hospitals, nursing homes, security broker-dealers, and engineering firms. Daryl has been an audit executive with small, medium and large local and national CPA firms.
Daryl became a Partner at The By Choice Group in 2018 and continues to provide the above-mentioned accounting and audit services.

Peter Yu is a Certified Public Accountant with over 18 years of experience. He started his career as an auditor in 1998 at Grant Thornton, LLP. In 2002, Peter founded CPA By Choice, a CFO and Controllership-focused consulting firm. Since then, Peter has gained extensive experience providing CFO, Controllership and Treasury services to publicly traded and middle-market companies. As part of his consultant role, he also acts as the liaison between management executives and external auditors.
In 2011, Peter founded Staffing By Choice. A professional staffing service run by expert recruiters who have an extensive network among the local markets. In 2015, Peter founded Reporting By Choice, on-demand budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation solutions for clients of all sizes.
The parent company, The By Choice Group, was established in 2018.
